Chrome and glass staircases have metal components with a silver chrome-style finish with fitted glass panels. Chrome staircase designs provide a sleek, modern and high-tech feeling to interior stairwells. This look can be achieved by using a brushed stainless steel stair balustrade kit by StairFurb.
Treat your home to a contemporary brushed stainless steel and glass staircase.
StairFurb uses brushed stainless steel, rather than chrome because Stainless steel is more durable than chrome. It’s corrosion-resistant, scratch-resistant, and tarnish-resistant, unlike chrome.
Many customers want a contemporary, clean and spacious feel to their house. This can be achieved by using StairFurb’s brushed stainless steel handrail, with transparent clamped glass panels. A brushed stainless and glass staircase with glass brings brightness and style to the darkest of stairwells.
StairFurb’s clamped glass balustrade kit is easy to install. With a pine wood baserail and stainless steel handrail, it can bring a contemporary feel to any home. Components and glass panels are supplied pre-cut to the correct measurements and angles. Fixing holes are pre-drilled, making it easy to fit. All that’s left for you to do is paint the wood white and fit them to your staircase with the provided glass panels.
Jack and his wife Kelly live with their gorgeous Cockerpoo in a small village in South Devon. Having lived in the house for over five years, they thought it was time to make some improvements. They were wondering whether they wanted to move house, or stay put, so wanted to ensure that any improvements would increase the value of the property in case they decided to sell.
They already had some glass internal doors and oak components in other parts of their home, so naturally opted for an oak wood and glass balustrade kit. After chatting to one of the StairFurb technical sales assistants they decided to choose the clamped glass balustrade kit, rather than embedded since it’s modular in design, allowing them to remove the handrail and glass panels if they moved house, making it easier to carry wardrobes and other large items down the stairs.
Jack and Kelly DIY fitted their kit on one Sunday morning and were over the moon with the results. They love that their new glass balustrade is the first thing people see when they come into the house.
