Type: Odd Shaped Staircase Section
If your staircase handrail goes from the bottom newel post into the ceiling, then the ‘odd shape’ staircase section is for you.
This system includes:
- Made to measure glass panels, which will all be identical in size and allow for 50mm horizontal gaps either side of each panel.
- Brushed stainless steel or American oak handrail (if selected), which is cut to size and has all glass clamps pre-fitted to the correct location.
- All additional clamps, fixtures, and fittings are included as standard.
- Glass templates (if you include a handrail in your order) to make setting handrail height very easy, as well as a spacer block to make it easy to set the correct space between each glass panel, and a production sheet which shows you exactly where to put your glass clamps.
See additional products details below.
If you have a staircase section which has a newel post at the base, but the handrail then goes into the ceiling, rather than all the way up the stairs to an upper newel post, we’re able to provide bespoke glass balustrade for your system.
In order to measure the angles for this system, you will require a digital protractor. Using a phone to gather these angles will not be suitable.
*Please note that all the required glass clamps and handrail brackets will be included in your price. These are made of brushed stainless steel.
If ordering oak products from us, please see our oak information guide for advice on storage and treatment.
*products may vary from images shown.
*newel posts are NOT included in this system. They must be ordered extra.
*All StairFurb systems require a closed string staircase, with a stringer that is at least 22mm wide (which is the width of our glass clamps, which will fit onto the string).
