Every kit is made for your staircase in our UK factory. No standard lengths to cut down at home, and no parts ordered separately over weeks.

Our own driver arranges a time that suits you, carries every component into the room of your choice, and checks the parts with you before leaving. It is not a box left on the doorstep.
Fit it yourself in a weekend
Fitting your new balustrade takes two people, basic hand tools and a weekend. 92% of our customers install their kits themselves within a weekend, helped by our video guides for each stage and a team on hand if you get stuck.
If you would rather not do it yourself, that is fine too. Our Find a Fitter service connects you with a recommended local fitter.

How long does it take to fit a StairFurb balustrade?
Most kits take two people a weekend to fit. The components arrive pre-cut and pre-drilled, so the work is assembly rather than fabrication, with video guides for each stage.
Do I need any special tools or skills?
No special tools or trade skills are needed. Basic hand tools and two people are enough for most kits, and our video guides cover every step.
What is included in the kit?
Everything needed to fit your new balustrade. That means panels or spindles, rails, and every screw, bracket and cap, all pre-cut and labelled. Newel posts and caps are added as separate parts, as they’re not needed for every transformation.
How is the kit delivered?
Our own driver brings it inside. They arrange a time with you, carry the components into the room of your choice and check everything with you before leaving.
What if I would rather not fit it myself?
Our Find a Fitter service puts you in touch with a customer-recommended fitter. You still get the made-to-measure kit. If you plan to use a 3rd party to install the kit for you we’d recommend they be involved in the measuring process before final sign-off for production.
