All of StairFurb’s Glass Balustrade Kits are designed and manufactured with DIY in mind.
Everything is cut to the required lengths and angles, with holes pre-drilled and fixing screws provided. All you need to do is cut and remove your existing balustrade, then fit our modular kit following our simple video guides.

We endeavour to deliver all orders within three weeks of an order being placed and dimensions signed off by the customer. Please allow up to six weeks for delivery to Scotland.
Bespoke made oak handrail and baserail, cut to the required length and angles. Pocket holes are pre-drilled for fixing to the newel post, with dowels and fixing screws all supplied.
The number of glass panels will depend upon the length of the section. Glass is bespoke made and each piece will be the same size for any one section, but no longer than 1100mm, allowing for 15mm gaps between each panel and at each end. All glass is 8mm, and toughened.
You have two options:
- Get a DIY Quote. You can bring up our online DIY configurator, which has simple animated videos to guide you through step by step measurements for each of your balustrade sections, enabling you to get a quote in your own time and at your own speed. All you need is a tape measure.
- You can book a live video call with one of our technical sales advisors, who will help advise you on the most suitable product style for your home, and guide you through through the required measurements to provide you with an accurate quote.
