A handrail is the part you grip as you move up or down the stairs. A balustrade is the full safety structure alongside the staircase, usually made up of handrails, spindles or glass panels, known as ‘infill’, fitted between newel posts.

We offer embedded handrails, wall-mounted handrail kits, spindle handrails, and round and square profiles in oak, pine, and stainless steel. All options are designed to suit different layouts and aesthetics.

Yes. All of our handrails are designed for DIY installation. They’re cut to size, pre-machined where needed, and come with optional fitting kits and guides.

Yes, our handrails are compatible with a range of balustrade styles, including clamped glass panels, contemporary metal spindles and traditional timber spindles. Make sure to select the right profile when choosing your components.

Our handrails are available in solid oak (untreated for staining or sealing yourself), stainless steel (brushed finish), Ready2Paint (pre-primed and ready for your own topcoat), or factory-painted in white, black, or grey. Choose the finish that best suits your project and timeline.

Depending on the type, you may need bracket fixings, pocket holes or large fixings to secure from the back of the post. Wall mounted handrails are supplied with all the fixings you’ll need.

Yes. Our handrails are designed for interior staircases and balustrades, not for exterior or garden stairs.

We offer handrails in sample size (150mm), 1.8m, 2.4m, 3m, and 4.2m lengths to suit different stair configurations. You can also cut handrails to fit your exact requirements if needed.
