StairFurb is a family business, passionate about providing high quality, affordable and stylish home renovation products and have been at the forefront of innovation in the industry since 2001.
Having been market leaders in DIY install glass balustrades for the inside of you home for the last decade, due to popular demand we have launched our AlFresco range to provide external balustrade options too. As with our internal range, the focus is on high-quality components, unbeatable prices and truly DIY install product offering.
StairFurb products are designed and manufactured here in the UK. Our Alfresco Glass Balustrade Kits are designed to be DIY installed.
We take pride in everything we do. Our Sales team are here to help on Live Video Calls and our skilled Production Team do all the prep-work in our factory to simplify installation. All Balustrade Kits are DIY friendly but if DIY isn’t for you then we can help with Installation too.

Specialist Delivery
We deliver throughout mainland UK only, with a true ‘white glove’ delivery service. Our delivery driver doesn’t just drop a pallet on your driveway, he carries each individual component into a room of your choice and will take the time to inspect each element with you to ensure that you’re happy there are no damaged or defected items.
SIMPLE DIY INSTALLATION
Our bespoke kits are provided ready to install.
The posts are pre-assembled with the clamps in the correct locations. The handrails are pre-cut to the correct lengths, with riv nuts installed, for secure fitting of the posts, along with printed fitting instructions, you are provided with information for each individual section to let you know which components belong to each section.
It’s these extra touches that make fitting a StairFurb kit a truly DIY project.
Quality Materials
Our continual product and material R&D ensures that our prices and material quality continue to be the best available regardless of economic variations. For framed glass kits, our glass is 10mm thick, toughened, polished on all edges and has radius corners to BSEN 12150. For frameless kits the glass is 17.5mm toughened and laminated. Each panel is subtly laser etched on one edge with Kite Mark to BSEN12150, to prove that it is made to building regulation requirements. All our stainless steel components are made from cast 316 grade brushed stainless steel.
