The embedded glass balustrades are elegant with clean lines which are uninterrupted by brackets or clamps. Torque screws are inset inside the handrail using a pre-drilled pocket hole, ensuring the most secure and sleek finished handrails.
StairFurb supply the embedded balustrade kits with the baserails pre-cut to the exact length and angle, with holes pre-drilled and screws supplied. The glass is all bespoke made to your required dimensions and the handrail is pre-cut the the length and angle as well as having the pocket hole pre-drilled in the ends of the handrail for fixing to the newel post with the supplied torque screws. In short, the kit is provided ready to DIY install.
In a nutshell, the fitting process for embedded glass systems…
Cut and remove existing spindles, baserail and handrails. Use filler and paint the newel posts as necessary.
Place the pre-cut baserail into position and fix it down with the supplied screws, through the pre-drilled holes.
Place glass panels into the embedded channel, sit the handrail on top and mark handrail position on newel post.
Drill and fix handrail connectors into newel post.
Place handrail in position and secure it with the supplied fixing components.
